Do you care if a singer writes their own songs?
everyone on here makes such a big deal about it talent wise. Personally i don’t care if they do or don’t. As long as i like the meaning and the person has a good voice i’m going to listen to it. That’s like saying “well since Julia Roberts didn’t write the script she isn’t talented”. I mean all these producers and writers have to make money too so they write songs for people.
No, that is why they are classified as singers and not singer/songwriters.
